Blalock Named Women Vision SC Honoree!

BHDD Office of Mental Health Deputy Director of Community Mental Health Services Debbie Blalock has been recognized as one of 11 Women Vision SC honorees for 2020.

The initiative, begun in 2019 by SCETV, “focuses on issues affecting women throughout the state and nation and serves as a platform to highlight trailblazing South Carolina women that have made an impact.”

The honorees were profiled in an hourlong television special, Women Vision SC: Finding Our Voice, which aired, July 2, at 8:30 PM on SCETV, and segments about each of them will also be featured on the SCETV program Palmetto Scene.

Congratulations to Deputy Blalock on this prestigious recognition! To learn more about the WomenVisionSC initiative, go to: South Carolina ETV to honor 11 women leaders in second year of ‘Women Vision SC’ initiative.
