Disaster Preparedness

Within the confines of a rule established by Center for Medicaid and Medicare (CMS), Public Health and emergency response includes behavioral health response.

It has been shown to be evident that mitigating the mental health consequences of disasters can facilitate effective response and mental health in disasters. Greater Greenville mental health center has a team of essential personnel that will respond to our center, staff, and clients in the event any of our buildings are part of the disaster. There is also a GO team that responds to the community in support of First Responders interventions.
