Greater Greenville Mental Health Center

Our mission is to support the recovery of people with mental illness. Greater Greenville Mental Health Center is an extension of the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (BHDD) Office of Mental Health system, with three different clinic locations that serve Greenville County. GGMHC offers a wide range of services, and we are always here to help our community.

Today, “988” is the three-digit, nationwide phone number to connect directly to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. By calling or texting 988, you’ll connect with mental health professionals with the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. There is hope. The 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline is a national network of more than 200 crisis centers that helps thousands of people overcome crisis situations every day.

CARF Accredited

CARF International is an independent, nonprofit accreditor of health and human services providers. Greater Greenville Mental Health holds a Three-Year Accreditation Award by CARF — the Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission. This represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and show’s the organization’s substantial conformance to the standards established by CARF. This accreditation marks the sixth consecutive Three-Year Accreditation awarded to the center by the international accrediting commission. The award contained many commendations to the center.
